Flowers, I believe, are one of God's precious gifts - little bursts of colour that can't help but cause us to smile. A reminder that there are still beautiful things in the world.
 
Like a sunset over the water, this stunning banksia reminds me of the explosion of orange, gold and red over the shimmering blue-green ocean - the stunning light display our Creator paints to celebrate the close of each day He gives. If only we could appreciate each day just as much as the One who gives them to us.
