Flowers, I believe, are one of God's precious gifts - little bursts of colour that can't help but cause us to smile. A reminder that there are still beautiful things in the world. 
I have chosen a plain, raw linen background to highlight the flowers themselves as the focal point - and to complement the beautiful native Australian florals, giving the piece a rustic look. These native florals are so iconic to Australia -  home, where the most beauty in life is found.
 
Like so many tiny lights, the flowers of the Australian wattle mimic the stars in a clear Australian sky, winking in the breeze, breath-takingly beautiful.
