Flowers, I believe, are one of God's precious gifts - little bursts of colour that can't help but cause us to smile. A reminder that there are still beautiful things in the world. 
I have chosen a plain, raw linen background to highlight the flowers themselves as the focal point - and to complement the beautiful native Australian florals, giving the piece a rustic look. These native florals are so iconic to Australia -  home, where the most beauty in life is found.
 
The delicate leaves of the banksia seem to reflect the movements of a beautiful dance. I am reminded to be thankful for what I have. To dance, even if I have no one to dance with. To enjoy what God has given me, knowing I will never be alone with Him by my side.
