Palette knife, 'Resonance' (cow)

I absolutely love using a palette knife! There is a beauty in the flow of the knife across the canvas and the stunning textures and movement it gives a piece. But a lot of my students struggle when they first pick up their knife. This four-week course is a little introduction to how to use a palette knife, going through everything from what equipment you'll need, to planning your painting, to finally applying the paint. We go through brief little exercises to improve your coordination with this new and exciting tool, as we learn the skills needed to paint this beautiful cow painting - because who doesn't love cows, right?
